The Office of Police Conduct Review (OPCR) is pleased to announce its renewed membership with the National Association for Civilian Oversight of Law Enforcement (NACOLE).  NACOLE is a national non-profit organization that brings together individuals and agencies working to establish and improve police oversight throughout the country.  NACOLE has published two articles on the OPCR, one addressing the unique framework of the OPCR in 2013 and a second in 2014 discussing the coaching process. Through this renewed membership, the OPCR will have access to a wide variety of police oversight materials, be able to participate in nationwide trainings, and partner with other police oversight agencies.  Individuals in the organizational membership may also become Certified Practitioners of Oversight.  For more information on NACOLE, please visit their website at nacole.org.
