This afternoon the Public Safety, Civil Rights, and Health Committee of the Minneapolis City Council unanimously passed the proposed amendment at the close of a brief, but powerful public hearing. We thank all community members who came to share their thoughts and experiences. The proposed amendment is now set for full vote in front of the City Council on Friday, August 5th, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. in City Hall Room 317. While there won’t be any further opportunity for public comment, you are welcome to join us at the meeting to observe.
